How do you ensure guest safety on your yacht charters?
Your safety is always our top priority. Hiatus is equipped with Coast Guard–approved life jackets, first aid supplies, and modern navigation systems. Our experienced captain and crew are trained to support a safe, comfortable experience on the water.

Hiatus is a wide, stable yacht, but motion sickness is still possible. If you’re prone to seasickness, consider taking medication 30–60 minutes before departure.
What should I wear?
Bring a jacket or wear layers because the air temperature can vary while on the Big Lake.
Is the boat handicap accessible?
Unfortunately, no. Hiatus does not have handicap‑accessible entry. Guests must be able to:

- Step across from the dock to the boat with assistance from the crew if needed
We always do our best to help guests board safely, but the boat’s design does not support wheelchair access or zero‑step entry.
